Born in Philadelphia to Jamaican parents, NOIRKEY is a first-generation American artist whose love for music started with a feeling he never forgot. At ten years old, while walking to his aunt’s house in Jamaica at night, he passed an outdoor dancehall event. The sound, the bass and the energy stayed with him — and became the moment that made him fall in love with music.
By thirteen, he had already started DJing, first through reggae and dancehall. Growing up in America then expanded his ear as other DJs pulled him into hip-hop and more genres. Over time, NOIRKEY developed a unique instinct for blending Jamaican and American sounds, knowing how to move between both cultures in a way that feels natural, musical and authentic.
